Welcome to Marrakech! Step off the plane and prepare to be greeted by the warmth of the Moroccan sun. You’ll be whisked to the Ezzahra Estate, which will be your home for the next four nights of your Morocco group tour. Take some time to settle and explore the surroundings before getting a taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine. The evening kicks off with a talk from Cassandra, accompanied by drinks and canapés, followed by a traditional dinner by House Cook, Jihad.

Where You Will Be Staying

Ezzahra Estate

Ezzahra is a private villa on a lavish estate, a place where traditional architecture meets international luxury hospitality. Surrounded by lush gardens of pine and olive trees, the estate boasts a beautiful swimming pool, a games room, gym, hammam and cinema. With seven elegant ensuite bedrooms, you’ll have a private take-over of the estate, making it exclusively yours. On-hand are 17 permanent staff, including the house cook who will provide a daily changing menu of Morocco’s finest flavours. The Ezzahra Estate is not just our favourite property in Morocco – it’s one of our favourites in the world.

Day 2

Discovering Morocco’s Gems

The first morning of your Morocco group trip begins with an exploration of spectacular historical sights. First stop is the Saadian Tombs, one of the finest examples of Moroccan architecture around. These 16th century tombs had been abandoned for hundreds of years until they were rediscovered in 1917 by aerial photography. Next stop will be the Bahia Palace. Bahia means ‘Brilliance’ in Arabic and the palace more than lives up to its name. Your final stop is the incredible Jewish Quarter.

Lunch will be on the go, offering an opportunity to taste Marrakech’s famous street food before returning to Ezzahra for an afternoon of leisure. Relax and make the most of the spa facilities or, if you would rather be more active, a car and guides will be available to take you to the bustling souks. You’ll enjoy a delightful dinner at Ezzahra to round off the day.

Hoping to find a gem?

As Marrakech is home to some of the most traditional, mystic and alluring items in the world, we can organise a personal shopper with expertise and inside knowledge to guide you through the Souks and help you find that something special. This is an optional experience you can include at time of booking.

Koutoubia mosque morocco group tip

Day 3

Finding Hidden Treasure

A visit to the mosques is a must in Marrakech. Koutoubia Mosque sits on the edge of the Medina and towers above the city. You can usually see the mosque from a distance wherever you stand in Marrakech, but you will only be able to admire the spectacular fine architecture when you’re up close. You’ll also take a trip to Medersa Ben Youssef. Originally built in the 12th century, it’s a magnificent example of ancient craftmanship. The morning finishes off with an exploration of traditional jewellery shops.

Back at Ezzahra, the afternoon will be spent designing jewellery with Cassandra. Recap on the fabulous sights and draw inspiration from each memory as you design a unique piece to add to your collection. Dinner will be served a Dar Yacout, a fine Moroccan restaurant set in the heart of the Medina.

Day 4

Uncovering Precious Jewels

After breakfast, you’ll be back to the city for a trip to a tannery, before heading over to the Saturday market and raffia store to inspect artisanal local products – the perfect opportunity to gather some authentic souvenirs to take home before returning to Ezzahra for an afternoon of leisure.

All spa facilities and treatments are included at Ezzahra, so take the time to wind down after a busy few days. If you’d prefer to keep on the move, revisit your favourite spot or squeeze in some more shopping; a driver and guides will be on-hand to accompany you.

As the afternoon draws to a close, a farewell dinner will be served at Ezzahra; reminisce over shared memories and swap contact details with newfound friends.

Feeling adventurous?

Feeling adventurous? Take a tour to capture the grandeur of the Atlas Mountains and unearth Morocco’s breath-taking landscapes and prehistoric Berber culture and traditions.  This is an optional experience you can include at time of booking.

She has been to Marrakech many times and has always found it incredibly special that, in a journey of only three hours, you can be transported to such an exhilarating world of different cultures, smells, sights and sounds.  Henrietta and Cassandra have assiduously honed this itinerary, ensuring that an action packed four days introduces our guests to the country in the most inspiring and informative way. They believe nothing should be compromised.

Cassandra Goad

Cassandra Goad is one of the most respected jewellers in London. Her passion for her craft shines through her work and she takes pride in creating exclusive pieces of jewellery. Cassandra has a wide and exclusive following that includes Catherine, Princess of Wales, who is often seen wearing her jewels. A large part of Cassandra’s success stems from her personality, which is reflected in her jewellery. The ‘Porte Ouvant’, Moroccan door-inspired pieces in her Maroc collection are designed to swivel open, acting as a gentle reminder that the door is always open to honour new hopes, dreams and opportunities. In recent years, Cassandra has developed a love for Morocco and drawn inspiration from its unique architecture and culture. Each piece in her collection tells its own tale and we are delighted to invite you to join Cassandra in Morocco as writes the next chapter of her story.
