A country of contrasts. Travel to Lebanon to see a startling mix of cultures and religions that lies at the convergence of the Middle East and the West.

Why travel to Lebanon

We were delighted to add Lebanon to our portfolio in 2020 after Henrietta Loyd and our destination expert, Venetia Stanley, had such a sensational trip there. They found Lebanon to be an intriguing, modern destination, with a thriving art scene, famous cuisine, beautiful European-inspired architecture, a mass of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a culture completely different to that of any of its neighbours.

From history and heritage in Baalbek and Byblos to hiking and mountain biking in the Al-Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve to arts and crafts in buzzing Beirut, and perhaps the best food of anywhere in the world, it has so much to offer and Henrietta and Venetia are very excited to share their experiences with our clients and design new and exciting tailor-made trips to Lebanon.

We are keeping up-to-date through our contacts on the ground – but in the meantime, our thoughts and support are with Lebanon at this difficult time and we look forward to sending clients to this fabulous country as soon as possible. If you would like to support the people of Lebanon, we suggest contributing to the charity, Beit el Baraka – which helps Lebanese citizens by giving them access to food, livelihoods, medical services and education – click here.

What our clients say

I highly recommend cazenove+loyd due to their impeccable service and attention to detail. My experience in Jordan was beyond my expectations. I felt incredibly lucky to have had the inside track to Jordan and visit many places with special privileges such as the Kings Horses stables.

What our clients say

Where do I start? The trip was fantastic. Every guide was superb and all of your representatives did an outstanding job. I sing your praises to anyone who will listen. Hassan is the best guide I have ever had in my life. Forty-eight pharaohs' tombs have been found in the Valley of the Kings and there are four left to find. Hassan knows all their names, how many illegitimate children they had and each one's family tree. Thanks again for putting together such an extraordinary trip.
