Why travel to Antigua

Escape to small but sublime Antigua and you’ll be richly rewarded. This Caribbean jewel boasts 365 stunning white sand beaches – one for every day of the year – offset by a sparkling coastline, excellent resorts and a vibrant island culture.

Take a private boat or ferry over to Antigua’s little sister island Barbuda for a change of scenery and to experience its magical rose-hued sands as well as the only beachfront Nobu in the world.

Antigua is a sailing mecca and has developed a regatta culture unlike any other in the Caribbean; several prestigious events punctuate the winter season from January to May, bringing with them plenty of spectacle and a celebratory atmosphere. Looking for adventures? We recommend a hike up Mount Obama or a trek through Wallings Nature Reserve to secluded beaches, kayak amongst mangroves or snorkel and dive the beautiful reefs. When relaxation calls, there’s no better place to unwind, whether that’s in a heavenly spa, over a local cricket match or to the blissed-out tune of local steel pans with a cocktail in hand.
