Considered by many to be the most beautiful National Park in the world, Torres del Paine is famous for its immense granite peaks rising up out of the glaciers, turquoise blue lakes and virgin white ice fields contrasting with lush, green forests. Twenty-five species of mammal including the elusive puma, the ostrich-like rhea and the now protected guanacos can be found in the park, as well as over one hundred species of birds.
