I have just returned from...

Indonesia
There is something very special about Indonesia – perhaps that’s due to the variety of experiences and destinations on offer. I adored exploring the impressive rice terraces by bike in Bali, learning about the local culture in Sumba and flying to Bawah Reserve by seaplane to enjoy a luxurious private island escape. The island nation, of which there are over 17,000 islands with each offering something unique, beckons all manner of traveller, with world-class wellness facilities for keen yogis, spectacular volcanoes to hike for adventurers, or dramatic coastlines for surfers and sunseekers.
My next destination is...

BHUTAN
I cannot wait to see the inspirational architecture of the ‘Land of the Thunder Dragon’, visit its mountain forts and monasteries, hike through spectacular valleys and simply immerse myself in the country’s natural and spiritual beauty. The lush Himalayan kingdom also boasts spectacular collections of luxury lodges from some of the world’s finest hotel groups, including Six Senses, COMO and Aman, as well as independent properties such as Gangtey Lodge, which I’m extremely excited to experience. Bhutan has been on my bucket list for a long time, so it will be a special moment stepping off the plane.
