Why visit Hạ Long Bay

Hạ Long Bay is famous for its otherworldly limestone islands, with more than 1,600 karsts rising from emerald waters. Hidden caves, quiet lagoons and floating fishing villages give a sense of both scale and daily life shaped by the tides. Exploring by traditional wooden boat or kayak lets you drift slowly through this dramatic seascape.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the bay is perfect for photography, nature lovers and anyone seeking calm. Misty mornings and shifting light make every viewpoint unique. Its location in northern Vietnam also makes it easy to combine with Hanoi or the terraced hills of Sapa, creating a journey of culture, landscapes and timeless scenery.
