How to get there

Amangiri is tucked away in a remote corner of southern Utah, near the Arizona border, yet remains surprisingly accessible with the right planning.

The nearest airport is Page Municipal Airport (PGA) in Arizona, just 25 minutes away by car, offering limited regional flights from Phoenix and Las Vegas. Private charters are also possible into Page for a seamless arrival.

Alternatively, most guests fly into Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) or Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). From there, it’s a 4.5 to 5-hour drive, or we can arrange a private transfer or scenic flight direct to Page.

From Page, Amangiri provides a complimentary private transfer to the resort, ensuring a smooth and discreet arrival.

Though remote, the journey is part of the experience — vast desert plateaus, ribboned canyons and cinematic skies set the tone before you even arrive.

Of course, you could consider arriving by helicopter, landing directly at the resort’s private helipad — an unforgettable way to take in Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend and the otherworldly terrain en route.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome at Amangiri, though the experience is best suited to older children and teens who can appreciate the setting, pace and activities on offer.

The resort offers tailored, family-friendly adventures such as guided slot canyon walks, fossil hunts, beginner-friendly via ferrata climbs, horseback riding and Navajo storytelling around the fire.
