Why visit Connecticut

Connecticut offers a mix of coastal towns, countryside and cultural heritage in a compact and easy-to-explore state. Along the coast, places such as Mystic and New Haven feature harbours, historic sites and maritime history, while inland areas are known for rolling hills, small towns and scenic drives.

The state also has strong cultural appeal. New Haven is home to Yale University, with museums, galleries and historic architecture, while towns across the state offer local markets, independent shops and a slower pace, making Connecticut a varied and accessible destination.
