Its untouched beauty, absence of commercial development, and limited guests ensure a rare level of seclusion.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome on Pine Cay, but the island is best suited to families seeking peace, nature, and low-key luxury. There are no kids’ clubs or resort-style entertainment, but older children can enjoy snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, cycling around the island, and exploring the beach and nature trails. It’s an ideal setting for families looking to disconnect, slow down, and enjoy meaningful time together in a quiet, safe environment.

Giving back

Pine Cay, a private island in Turks & Caicos, is committed to sustainable practices that harmonize luxury with environmental stewardship. For over 35 years, the island has utilised electric golf carts for transportation, minimising carbon emissions and preserving its serene atmosphere. Strict building guidelines, including setbacks from the beach, were implemented well before governmental regulations, ensuring the protection of coastal ecosystems. The island plans to open a solar farm in 2024, aiming for 100% sustainability by 2028. Additionally, Pine Cay has resisted expanding its hotel to accommodate more visitors, prioritising environmental preservation over increased profits.

Complementing these efforts, Pine Cay enforces a no-car policy, encouraging exploration by bicycle or electric golf cart, thereby reducing pollution and maintaining its eco-friendly ambiance. The island has also replaced individual plastic toiletry bottles with refillable dispensers, reducing plastic waste.

Why we love Pine Cay

This private island really does feel special with its exclusive beaches and tranquility. It’s the low key charm that creates a wonderful feeling of luxury that we really love.
