Good to know

How to get there

The Siam is located about 35km from Bangkok’s airport, with the drive typically taking around 45 minutes—though it can take longer during peak traffic. That said, a private transfer via the tollway remains the most convenient option. Once you’re at the hotel, The Siam’s private shuttle boat is a great way to explore the city by river, helping you avoid traffic and enjoy a more scenic journey to Bangkok’s key landmarks.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are warmly welcome at The Siam. The hotel offers spacious accommodations, including private pool villas and family-friendly suites, ideal for families seeking comfort and privacy. The serene gardens, peaceful riverfront setting, and personalized service make it an excellent choice for guests traveling with children. While The Siam doesn’t have a dedicated kids’ club, the attentive staff can arrange family-friendly activities, tailored dining experiences, and engaging excursions to ensure younger guests feel comfortable and entertained throughout their stay.

Giving back

The Siam’s approach to sustainability is both practical and deeply rooted in its values. All single-use plastic bottles have been eliminated from the property, with guests given complimentary refillable containers and access to filtered water stations across the hotel, as part of the RefillNotLandfill initiative.

The Sukosol family, who own The Siam, are well known in Thailand for their philanthropic work. Under the leadership of Khun Kamala Sukosol, they have raised over 75 million baht through annual charity concerts, benefitting a wide range of local charities and foundations.

Aligned with the wider environmental goals of Sukosol Hotels, The Siam has implemented a number of green initiatives across its operations—these include reducing energy use, sourcing responsibly, and promoting sustainable hospitality practices throughout the hotel.

Why we love The Siam

The hotel was designed by Bill Bensley, often dubbed the “Willy Wonka of Design.” His signature style blends Art Deco with Thai heritage, making The Siam a visual masterpiece.
