Good to know

How to get there

Drive approximately two hours from Bangkok to Ban Phe Pier in Rayong. From there, the resort’s private speedboat transfers guests to Koh Samet in 20 minutes. Helicopter charters can be arranged for direct access to the island, landing at a nearby helipad followed by a short transfer to the resort.

Are children welcome?

Paradee welcomes children, although the tranquil atmosphere and lack of dedicated kids’ facilities make it better suited to older children or couples seeking a peaceful retreat.

Giving back

Paradee is involved in the preservation of Koh Samet’s fragile ecosystem, working closely with the national park authority to manage waste and protect local wildlife. The resort uses eco-friendly materials, minimises single-use plastics, and supports coral reef conservation projects in nearby bays.

What is nearby?

With its dreamy setting between two coastlines at the southern tip of Koh Samet, Paradee is perfectly placed for both adventure and seclusion. The waters surrounding the resort are calm and clear, making them ideal for snorkelling right off the beach or venturing a little further by boat to discover hidden coves and vibrant reefs. Private speedboat excursions can also be arranged to explore lesser-visited beaches and neighbouring islets, many of which remain untouched and quiet even in high season.

Back on land, the island’s compact size means that much of its natural beauty is easily accessible. Explore forested trails in the nearby Khao Laem Ya–Mu Ko Samet National Park, or visit secluded Buddhist shrines tucked away in the hills. The laid-back village of Na Dan is a short ride away and offers a glimpse of local island life, with seafood restaurants, small markets, and a few colourful bars lining the coast. Sunset viewpoints along the western cliffs make for a spectacular early evening outing.

Activities can be booked with us in advance or upon arrival. To secure the best possible guide for your experience we recommend booking these in advance.

Why we love Paradee

There’s something uniquely special about watching the sun rise and set from the same resort. The beach is quiet, the sea is clear, and it all feels completely hidden from the rest of the world.
