How to get there

To reach Mandarin Oriental Canouan from the UK, you will need to fly to Barbados (or St Lucia), followed by a short inter-island flight to St Vincent & the Grenadines. From here, a scenic boat transfer brings you to Canouan Island, where the resort will arrange a short transfer to the hotel.

Are children welcome?

Yes.  Children are welcome at Mandarin Oriental Canouan, making it a family-friendly luxury retreat. The resort accommodates families with spacious suites and villas, as well as babysitting services and tailored experiences for younger guests. While there is no large-scale kids’ club programme, the calm beaches and relaxed island setting make it well suited to families seeking a quiet, refined Caribbean escape.

Giving back

Mandarin Oriental Canouan emphasises preserving its private island environment, with initiatives focused on protecting the surrounding coral reefs and marine life, reducing environmental impact across operations, and supporting more responsible use of energy and resources.

The resort also prioritises low-density development, helping maintain the island’s natural landscape and sense of seclusion.

Why we love Mandarin Oriental Canouan

Combining secluded island living with Mandarin Oriental’s renowned service, the hotel offers an exceptional blend of luxury, wellness, golf, and natural beauty.
