Good to know

How to get there

Jade Mountain is reached via Hewanorra International Airport in the south of the island. From here, it’s around a 60–75 minute transfer by private car to Jade Mountain, following a scenic coastal and mountain road. Helicopter transfers are also available for a faster, aerial arrival with views of the Pitons.

Are children welcome?

No — children are generally not welcome at Jade Mountain. The resort is known for its adult-focused atmosphere and typically does not accept children under 12, with much of the accommodation and experience designed for couples and adults seeking tranquillity and privacy.

Giving back

Jade Mountain’s sustainability approach is rooted in long-term environmental care and close community involvement. The resort manages its own water supply through rain catchment and treatment systems, reuses grey water for irrigation and follows strict wastewater practices to protect surrounding ecosystems. Energy use is reduced through natural ventilation, low-impact systems and minimal reliance on artificial lighting.

Single-use plastics have been removed, with refillable glass bottles and hydration stations used instead. The resort also supports marine conservation, local employment and responsible sourcing, ensuring tourism benefits both the environment and nearby communities.

Why we love Jade Mountain

The famous sweeping Piton views mreally do create stunning sanctuaries that invite total escape, especially those with a private infinity pool.  Perhaps it is that they achieved building this without using any heavy machinery, protecting the local environment.
