Good to know

How to get there

Cap Maison is reached via Hewanorra International Airport in the south of the island. From here, it’s around a 90 minute transfer by private car to the hotel, following a scenic coastal and mountain road. Helicopter transfers are also available for a faster, aerial arrival with views of the Pitons.

Are children welcome?

Yes – children are welcome at Cap Maison, though the atmosphere is generally more refined and relaxed, making it best suited to families with older children or teens.

There’s no formal kids’ club, but the spacious villa-style suites and private pools work well for families wanting privacy and flexibility. The beach is sheltered and calm, ideal for swimming and paddleboarding, and staff are warm and accommodating with younger guests.

Giving back

  • Farm-to-table sourcing – Much of the produce served at The Cliff at Cap and The Naked Fisherman is locally grown, including herbs and vegetables from Cap Maison’s own garden.

  • No single-use plastics – The resort has eliminated plastic straws and bottles, providing guests with refillable alternatives and filtered water.

  • Solar power + energy efficiency – Solar panels are used to heat water, and the resort is gradually introducing more energy-efficient systems throughout the property.

  • Eco-conscious design – The original design incorporated natural ventilation and local materials to minimise energy use.

  • Support for local producers – From handmade bath products to Saint Lucian rum and chocolate, Cap Maison champions small local businesses wherever possible.

  • Marine protection – Located close to a marine reserve, the resort promotes responsible watersports and reef-friendly practices, with staff trained in environmental awareness.

Why we love Jade Mountain

That champagne zipline is something magic, but what really backs this up is the fabulous food served at The Cliff at Cap, one of the best restaurants serving local food on the island.
