How to get there

The resort is approximately a 2 hour 30 minute drive from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, or 3 hours 30 minutes from Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. For those seeking a more efficient route, private seaplane transfers can be arranged to nearby Dickwella, followed by a short drive. Helicopter landings can also be coordinated on request.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are warmly welcomed at Anantara Peace Haven. The ‘Grow with Anantara’ programme offers a range of engaging activities tailored for young guests, while families can stay in spacious villas with plenty of room to relax. Babysitting services are also available upon request.

Giving back

Anantara Peace Haven supports the local community through its partnership with MJF Charitable Foundation, which funds education and healthcare initiatives in the region. The resort also champions sustainability with its organic garden, on-site water bottling plant, and commitment to reducing single-use plastics. Guests can join tree-planting activities and beach clean-ups organised in collaboration with local conservationists.

Why we love Anantara Peace Haven

The private villas feel wonderfully secluded, hidden among coconut palms with just the sound of the ocean nearby. Yet you’re never far from the resort’s best assets — its exceptional dining and its Ayurvedic spa.
