Did you know?

Originally farmland this region underwent one of the largest wildlife relocation projects in Africa, known as “Operation Phoenix.” Over 8,000 animals were reintroduced to the reserve, transforming it into one of South Africa’s premier safari destinations.

OUR FAVOURITE TIME TO VISIT

Between May and September the vegetation is sparse and the animals congregate around water sources making them much easier to spot. Although nights can be cold the daily temperatures do not rise too high either.
