POSITION: Small Group Trip Co-Ordinator
The cazenove+loyd team are looking for an experienced and capable executive to join our team in the position of Small Group Trip Co-Ordinator. If you have experience in the curation of unique and exclusive small group trips with interesting leaders and partners, are passionate about travel and have a professional and driven work ethic, we would be interested in hearing from you.
REPORTING TO: Head of Product
REMUNERATION: Competitive basic salary, pension, quarterly and annual performance commission, bonuses and annual travel grant
DUTIES + REPONSIBILITIES
Working with the Head of Product, Sales, and Marketing Divisions, you will be responsible for the curation of our Small Group Trips including (but not limited to):
- Initial itinerary planning
- Competitor analysis
- Costing and negotiating to ensure the best rates of commission and superior levels of service
- Detailed planning and understanding every facet
- Allocation management
- Promotion (with support from Marketing)
- Designing and producing documentation using our systems
- Production of all client documentation
- Function as the main point of contact (and fount of knowledge) for clients after they have booked until they return home
- Collecting client details
- Assisting in any operational matters arising from day-to-day activities within the product division
In addition to this you may also be required to:
- Research and identify any additional product to add to our portfolio
- Support the Head of Product in developing content in our systems
- Taking educational trips from time to time to develop new itineraries, to ensure providers are delivering as expected and to provide accurate information and marketing content for promotion of trips current and future
- Coordinating training by partners for the Sales Divisions on new and existing products
- Attending networking events to raise the company profile and seek out potential specialist leaders as well as future travellers
ESSENTIAL SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
- Significant prior experience in a similar role within a high-end tour operator
- Possess proficient knowledge of developing, curating, and running set departure trips
- Hold a clear understanding of the operational issues associated with small group trips
- Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken English
- Impeccable customer service levels with the ability to take a firm stance if necessary
- Experience managing budgets and targets
- Commitment to delivering high quality service consistently to clients & suppliers
- Possess exceptional time management and organisational skills and be able to prioritise and delegate as required
- Work to tight deadlines set by the business
- Be comfortable with managing allocation and reacting to breakeven realities of set departure travel
