Travelling from Christchurch to Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes hours by car, following the scenic State Highway 1 north along the coastline. Guests can choose to self-drive, enjoying the flexibility to stop and take in the stunning views en route. Alternatively, cazenove+loyd can arrange a comfortable private transfer. For those seeking something truly special, a helicopter transfer can also be organised, offering spectacular aerial views of the coastline and mountains before landing directly at the lodge.
