How do we get there?

The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat is approximately two and a half to three hours by private transfer from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The retreat is located just outside Ipoh, surrounded by limestone hills and tropical greenery.

Giving back

The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat is committed to protecting its natural surroundings through responsible practices across the property. Initiatives include reducing single use plastic, conserving water and energy, and separating waste for recycling.

The retreat’s onsite composting facility transforms garden and kitchen waste into natural fertiliser, while its organic gardens provide local herbs, native vegetables and fresh ingredients used in the restaurants.

Supporting the local community is also a key focus, with The Banjaran prioritising local employment, regional agriculture and locally made products, including traditional Labu Sayong pottery and produce from nearby Tambun farmers.

Guests can also take part in the Carbon Offset Stay Programme, which allows them to make a voluntary contribution towards certified carbon reduction and sustainability projects.
