Both Ekorian's Mugie Camp and Cottars surpassed our expectations, and in every area of the holiday – the tents, the food, the staff, the locations, the wildlife and the finest guides and spotters you can possibly hope for – we have had the most amazing family holiday ever. Off to the coast now for some R&R.

It is now a month since we left London for our African adventure and we are safely back in our respective boxes. It was the perfect safari! Thank you and your team very much indeed for your excellent organisation and implementation. Every one of our four locations was wonderful and proved to be the ideal combination. All your travel arrangements and support went like clockwork and the destinations – with good friends at every stop – could not have been more comfortable or beautiful. I hope that you will tell your colleagues and correspondents how delighted we were with your service.

cazenove+loyd organised the most wonderful holiday in Kenya for our family – on safari and then on the coast. The team worked hard to understand what we were all hoping for from an African holiday and put together the most amazing programme with activities such as riding, walking safari and fantastic game drives as well as giving us time to have a more relaxing time on the beach. The customer service at cazenove+loyd was superb: we were in touch with the individual who was arranging our trip a couple of times over the Christmas and New Year period and had very quick and helpful responses to all our queries. We were looked after beautifully in Kenya by all the hotel and lodge representatives and returned feeling we had enjoyed the most amazing experience together.

Our holiday was a huge success... It was very well organised and we stayed at two great camps. What I like about your organisation is the attention to detail and pragmatic advice, as evident in Kenya as it was in Chile and Patagonia last year. For example, by spending a bit of extra money on a private transfer from Lamu to Lewa, we avoided two commercial flights and a long wait in Nairobi, which created an extra day's holiday and made us feel like VIPs. You tuned in quickly to the sort of places we might like to stay in and sourced some hidden gems. At Cottars, we even received a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which thrilled me if not my wife!

We recently returned from the most extraordinary trip to Kenya, and we cannot thank Melissa and her team enough for crafting such an exceptional experience. Melissa tailored the entire journey to our preferences, and it truly checked every box we had hoped for – from exploring the vibrant city to witnessing Kenya’s incredible wildlife and even relaxing on stunning beaches. Every attraction and accommodation she selected exceeded our expectations, making this trip a dream come true.

From the moment we touched down at Nairobi International Airport, everything was perfect. The immigration process was seamless, and we were warmly greeted by the local staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly. Their attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring we were comfortable and well-informed throughout.

One of the most incredible aspects of the trip was how effortless it was for us. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing – no planning, no stress. We were able to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the experience, trusting Melissa and her team completely. It’s rare to find such peace of mind on a holiday.

The transportation was smooth and luxurious at every stage. From city to city, we travelled comfortably and the quality of our vehicles was noticeably superior to others. We truly felt well cared for.
