Are children welcome?

Giving back

For decades, the Hemingways group, who have hotels across the country, has been investing in the future of Kenya. As an integral part of the local Karen community their property in Nairobi is designed with discretion, in keeping with the quiet, residential neighbourhood.

The hotel makes use of an internal eco-system for water and energy conservation combined with a sustainable waste management program. All produce used int he kitchens is sourced locally with the aim of supporting local farmers. Artisans are also supported in the hotel boutique.

Within Nairobi, there are two specific community groups that Hemingways Collection supports – One Horizon and The Community Rugby Association both of which are mainstays of the community.

Why we love Hemingways, Nairobi

Located in the tranquil Karen suburb, we love the personalised service, including private butlers, and the high-quality dining experience, especially the Sunday brunch. Close to attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Park, it offers both convenience and a peaceful retreat in the city.
