Good to know

How do we get there?

To reach Cempedak Private Island from Singapore, take a 90-minute ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bintan’s Bandar Bentan Telani terminal. From there, a one-hour car journey across Bintan leads to a private jetty, followed by a 20–30-minute speedboat ride to the island. The full trip takes around 2 hours 30 minutes.

Are children welcome?

Cempedak Private Island is strictly an adults-only retreat — guests must be aged 16 or over, with a firm policy against children under 16.

Giving back

The hotel is committed to sustainable tourism, featuring eco-friendly architecture, solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and zero-waste systems. The island actively supports local communities and marine conservation through The Island Foundation and a designated Marine Protected Area, while also promoting education and environmental awareness.

What's included?

Your stay operates on a room-only basis, with a compulsory Daily Board charge of SGD 100++ per person per day covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and most non-alcoholic drinks, plus complimentary use of kayaks, sailing dinghies, beginner windsurfers, snorkelling equipment, and selected land-based activities.
