It is difficult to identify where or when the travel bug set in; falling in love with Southern Africa as a teenager and then living there was likely the sowing of the seed – those vast skies and the smell of the warm earth after a rain shower still get to me. After working in advertising account management at Saatchi & Saatchi, and then taking on marketing roles both in the UK and USA, the lure of a career in travel at cazenove+loyd proved too strong to resist, first in Africa, then in Latin America and subsequently in Asia.
