Felucca, Aswan

Board a traditional Egyptian felucca for a sunset sail to Kitchener’s Island, home to Africa’s largest botanical garden. Gifted to Lord Kitchener in the 1890s during his command of the Egyptian army, the island is now a haven of rare and exotic plants.

Stroll through the Aswan Botanical Gardens, where species from the Far East, India and across Africa flourish in the warm Nile breeze. After time to explore at leisure, return to the boat and continue sailing gently around the islands as the sun sinks below the horizon.
