What are the cabin options?

Nile Divine features eight beautifully appointed cabins, each designed with elegant detailing, Pharaonic-inspired motifs and handcrafted finishes. The layout includes:

  • Royal Suite – The most spacious cabin onboard, featuring a king-size bed, extended living area and sweeping views of the Nile.

  • King’s Cabins – Four stylish cabins with king-size beds and French-style balcony windows offering natural light and uninterrupted river views.

  • Twin Cabins – Two comfortable cabins with twin beds, ideal for friends or family travelling together.

  • Single Cabin – A compact yet elegant option for solo travellers, offering privacy without compromise on design or comfort.

Are children welcome?

Children are generally not encouraged on board Nile Divine, as the experience is designed to be calm, intimate and tailored to adult travellers. The atmosphere is more akin to a boutique retreat than a family cruise, with a focus on slow travel, elegant design and in-depth cultural exploration.

That said, older children or teenagers may be considered on a private charter, depending on the group and preferences. It’s best suited to couples, friends or multi-generational groups seeking privacy and sophistication.

Sustainable travel

Nile Divine embraces a thoughtful, low-impact approach to travel that reflects both environmental awareness and cultural sensitivity. As a traditional-style dahabiya, it relies partly on wind power for sailing, which significantly reduces fuel use compared to larger cruise ships. This slower, quieter mode of travel has a lighter footprint on the river’s ecosystem and surrounding communities.

Onboard, efforts are made to minimise waste and single-use plastics, and much of the food is sourced locally to support nearby farmers and producers. The team also works with local artisans and suppliers, ensuring economic benefits flow directly into the surrounding region. Nile Divine encourages guests to engage meaningfully with Egypt’s heritage while travelling in a way that respects both the environment and local culture.
