How to get there

From the north
Hacienda La Andaluza is around 3½ hours by road from Quito or approximately 1½ hours from Cotopaxi National Park. The journey follows the Pan-American Highway through the heart of the Avenue of the Volcanoes, passing fertile valleys, traditional villages and spectacular mountain scenery before reaching the outskirts of Riobamba.

From the south
From Cuenca, the drive takes around four hours, crossing the dramatic southern Andes before arriving in Riobamba. It’s a wonderfully scenic route, with opportunities to stop at viewpoints, local markets or the Inca ruins of Ingapirca, making the journey as rewarding as the destination itself

Are children welcome?

Yes. Hacienda La Andaluza welcomes children and is well suited to families exploring Ecuador’s central Andes. The spacious gardens and grounds give younger guests room to explore, while horse riding, visits to Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve and nearby traditional communities make for rewarding family excursions.
