To reach Silky Oaks Lodge, fly into Cairns Airport, the nearest major airport with both domestic and international connections. From Cairns, the lodge is approximately a 1.5-hour drive north, covering about 50 miles. Your private transfer will take you for a scenic journey along the Captain Cook Highway, which offers breathtaking coastal views. The drive takes you through charming seaside towns and lush rainforest, providing a picturesque introduction to the natural beauty of Far North Queensland before arriving at the tranquil and luxurious retreat of Silky Oaks Lodge.

Are children welcome?

Silky Oaks Lodge is primarily an adults-only retreat, designed to offer a tranquil and luxurious escape in the Daintree Rainforest. As such, the lodge does not generally accommodate children under the age of 10. This policy helps maintain the serene atmosphere, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the peaceful natural surroundings and enjoy the high-end amenities without disruptions. Families with older children are welcome ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests.
