The cazenove+loyd team are looking for an experienced and capable travel sales executive to join the Asia, Australasia + Middle East Division in the position of Destination Expert. Destination Expert – Asia, Australasia + Middle East
Reporting to: Head of Division
Remuneration: Competitive Basic Salary, Pension + Quarterly & Annual Performance Commission/Bonuses and Annual Travel Grant.

• Using the company systems, manage client bookings from point of enquiry and evaluation, through to confirmation.
• Courteously deal with all clients professionally through written and verbal communication.
• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers and ground agents to ensure the best rates of commission and consistent levels of service.
• Ensure all client quotes are attractive and meet/exceed client expectations, include all relevant costs, and achieve the targeted profit margin.
• Manage your sales revenue and profit margins against your targets.
• Working with marketing to create rich content that will be used to promote products across all marketing channels i.e., website, social media, digital and print.
• Working with the product team to identify and help develop new product as well as keep the existing product up to date and relevant.
• Curate and attend educational trips to locations that you and your team are selling and provide accurate information and useful content from those trips for future promotion and marketing purposes.
• Any other duties in keeping with the general nature of the post, including helping around the office.

• The candidate should be an effective communicator in both written and spoken English.
• Have an excellent telephone manner.
• Be comfortable with numbers and have a keen eye for detail.
• Committed to delivering high quality and consistent service to clients.
• Possess very good time management and organisational skills and be able to prioritise tasks as required.
• Work to tight deadlines set by the clients or the business.
• Have a natural ability and be a proactive solution-orientated/forward thinker.
• Be commercially astute and understand the business objectives fully.
• Demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for travel.
• Ability to undertake international travel occasionally and at short notice.

• The successful candidate will have at least 3 – 4 years of experience in high-end travel sales/working for a tour operator catering to HNW/UHNW individuals in a client-facing role.
• Have proficient knowledge of a range of countries in Asia, Australasia + The Middle East.
• Some creative writing experience is preferable.
• Product knowledge/direct experience from previous educational trips to any of the following but not limited to: Japan, Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan, Australia, New Zealand.
