OUR FAVOURITE TIME TO VISIT

The dry season, from mid-December to April, is generally the best time to visit Arenal National Park. Trails are easier to navigate, wildlife spotting is often clearer, and views of the volcano and Lake Arenal are less likely to be obscured by clouds or rain.

The green season, May to November, can also be rewarding. Rainfall brings the rainforest to life, waterfalls are fuller, and the landscape is lush and vibrant. While trails may be muddy, there are fewer visitors, making for a more peaceful and immersive experience.
