Giving back

Playa Cativo Lodge is deeply committed to sustainability, focusing on eco-friendly operations and conservation efforts. Additionally, all bathroom amenities, as well as cleaning and laundry products, are biodegradable and locally produced to reduce the carbon footprint.

Why we love Playa Cativo

Dolphins are regularly spotted on the boat trip from Puerto Jimenez and as you step onto the sand there is something of a Robinson Crusoe feeling to the hotel. The whole place seems to be alive with wildlife and humans are definitely in the minority.
