How to get there

To get to Refugio Chiloe you will need to fly from Santiago to Chiloé (Castro, Mocopulli Airport – MHC). The flight makes one stop in Puerto Montt before continuing to Castro, Chiloé. It takes around 2 hours 30 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes to Puerto Montt and then 35 minutes from Puerto Montt to Castro).

Alternatively, flights from Santiago to Puerto Montt operate daily and road transfers to the hotel (4 hours 30 minute journey including a 45-minute ferry passage) can be arranged on request.

The hotel offers complimentary return transfers from Mocopulli Airport. It can also organise return road transfers to and from Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas at an additional cost.
