Good to know

How to get there

Farmhouse Inn is located about 70 miles north of San Francisco International Airport (roughly 1 hour 30 minutes to two hours by car). Nestled among rolling vineyards and redwoods, it’s easily accessible by car, with on-site parking, and provides a peaceful base to explore nearby wineries, charming towns, and scenic wine country drives.

Are children welcome?

Children over the age of 10 are welcome at Farmhouse Inn. Children under 10 are not permitted. The Inn can provide information on local nanny services for families needing childcare during their stay.

Giving back

Farmhouse Inn integrates sustainability throughout its operations, focusing on reducing environmental impact and supporting local agriculture. Single-use plastics are eliminated with reusable glass bottles and a water purification system, toiletries come in refillable dispensers, and takeaways use biodegradable or recyclable containers.

Organic waste is composted to feed the inn’s 80 hens, whose eggs supply the restaurant, and the inn has donated a grove of native oak trees for permanent preservation.

What is nearby?

Guests staying near Farmhouse Inn can explore Sonoma’s Russian River Valley with ease. They can visit acclaimed wineries for tastings, hike among towering redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, paddle or tube along the Russian River, or unwind at Steelhead Beach Regional Park.

The nearby towns of Forestville and Graton offer charming streets with art galleries, antique shops, and tasting rooms, while Sonoma Plaza provides a historic setting with local boutiques and cafés.
