How to get there

Fly into Maun or Kasane, followed by a short light aircraft flight to the Savute airstrip. From there, it’s a 30-minute game drive to the lodge through Chobe National Park. Private charters and helicopter transfers can also be arranged for those seeking a more exclusive journey. Self-driving is not recommended due to the remote and wild terrain.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children over the age of six are welcome at Savute Elephant Lodge. The lodge offers family-friendly tents and private activities for those travelling with children. Due to the high predator concentration in the area, attentive supervision is essential.

Giving back
